Do You Even Market?

If there is one thing we've learned since the launch of Southern Grace, it's the 'dos' and 'don'ts' of facing market (and no, not the kind that sells food.)
Whether you're headed to a trade show to sell or buy, there are few tips to keep in mind that will keep you on track when facing the chaotic setting of market. And, luckily for ya'll, we decided to share these hard learned tips with you.
1.) Do a little research and utilize the resources the market provides. Markets typically provide a place on their website, or even an app for your phone that help you to navigate what brands will be selling. This is a great way to do some research on the different brands and plan out where you want to visit & get a good idea of what you are looking for.
2.) Give yourself time. Market can be overwhelming and you definitely need to give yourself enough time to see everything. We suggest blocking out one day to browse the brands, make sure you bring something to take notes on so you can write down what you are intrested in. This will make the second day or 'buying day' go a lot more smoothly. Many brands also let you make appointments ahead of time..this could be another great way to make the most of your time.
3.) FOOD. Think ahead of time. Look online at all the different food places provided at Market, many times there are more hidden places then just the large cafeteria where the line is out the door! But of course, we suggest to not come hungry and eat before...which will also save you time and money.
4.) And lastly, remember to bring your patience. Long lines and waiting to buy can be guranteed. However at Southern Grace, we can gurantee a good time in the meantime :)
Happy marketing friends and we hope to see you there!
